The Contactless Check-in app from Canberra Social Network provides your customers with a contactless method to check-in to your venue for the purpose of COVID19 social tracing.

No pens, clipboards, paper sheets or other materials. Your guests scan a printed QR code with their phone and a mobile optimised page opens where they can enter their name and phone number.

How does it work?

Your guest scans your unique QR code
They enter their name and phone number
We securely store their information
The encrypted check-in page opens on their mobile device.
We store it on our secure server in Sydney for 14 days.
We provide the data if requested by a government health authority.

How much does it cost?

COVID19 Contactless Check-in is funded through discrete advertising displayed to your guest after they check-in. There is no cost to your business.

How do I get started?

You can get up and running in a few minutes with these simple steps:

  1. Register your business or venue: https://checkin.canberrasocial.net/start
  2. We will ask for your email address, the name of your business and your location.
  3. Verify your email address through the link we send you.
  4. Finally, log in to your host portal, download your unique QR code, print it out and have your customers scan it when they enter your premesis.

Who provides this service?

COVID19 Contactless Check-in is operated by Canberra Social Network. We provide social technology services to the Australian community. Canberra Social Network is 100% Australian owned and operated.

Is my customers' data secure?

COVID19 Contactless Check-in is 100% Australian owned and operated. We use secure encryption technology to collect and transmit your customers' data to our secure server in Sydney. Your customers' data is never sent outside Australia, nor is it sold or used for third-party commercial purposes. We retain your customers' data in our secure database then delete it permanently after 14 days.

What happens if I need access to my data?

We provide hosts with an aggregate reporting tool where you can review checkins over the past 14 days. In the event of a COVID19 event involving your venue we will release your contact tracing data to an appropriate government health authority. The data is provided in CSV (comma seperated value) format which can be read by popular applications such as Microsoft Excel.
